I can still bitch about it though. NOW all of a sudden, they want to go back and fix years of mistakes? Ain't gonna happen! There are still military installations that are giving our service men and women crap, like Ft. Carson which has been in the news recently. You can't abuse someone for years and then turn around and say everything is ok, get over it. This stigma is permanently implanted within our government and military branches. Sheesh...just really pisses me off.Uncle Sam's Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01179663021921239430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4084876361608306937.post-18507556520989472132010-07-19T04:35:43.554-07:002010-07-19T04:35:43.554-07:00I've been reading about this with a heavy hear...I've been reading about this with a heavy heart especially as it hits so close to home.

It almost seems like the military expects bravery and stength on the one hand, then turns around and says it's okay if you don't feel that way any more. It's like offering a cookie to a kid then slapping their hand if they reach for the cookie jar. Makes no sense.PTSD, A Caregiver's Perspectivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14880657272299182629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4084876361608306937.post-83551522723018996342010-07-19T03:15:58.400-07:002010-07-19T03:15:58.400-07:00this is makes me so mad. I'm writing a book about my uncle who died in Vietnam. Seems to be a big trending topic with the military these days. It scares me. I don't know how to stop it or make it better.Wife of a Wounded Soldierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113425984851489988noreply@blogger.com
